Beautiful blueAs I lay down, the amber sunset peeks over purple clouds, but I pay no attention. My eyes don't see the green of the hill or the golden waves that cover it. Never did they stray to the sky to see the stars come out. I only saw the beaches that surround the sea as the ocean stared back at me. I heard no birds, but the roar of the water as it sang through ruby red lips. A song that surrounded and lifted, that took us away from our turmoil and differences. It was a song that lingered, even after the water had receded and took my heart with it.Beautiful blue
